November 5th was a big day for Steve this year - without any fireworks! Steve & Katy were invited down to Royal Air Force College Cranwell this Wednesday for Steve to receive an award.
He was presented with a Commandant Air Cadets' Certificate of Long and Meritorious Service ( 38 years) by Air Chief Marshal Sir Peter Squire a former Chief of the Air Staff. The presentation ceremony was followed by an informal reception and finger buffet in College Hall Officers' Mess. A guided tour of the Hall was given to those who wanted it - he didn’t pass up the opportunity.
What we see on the squadron is just a fraction of the work Steve has been involved with over the years - he hardly ever has a weekend off.
