AWO Osbourne is the squadron Adult Warrant Officer and acting CO. He is also the squadron adjutant who takes care of the subscription funds and all of the paper work and he is in charge of squadron discipline. He is also in charge of the Duke of Edinburgh award. Cadets from Buxton Squadron have received the gold award from HRH Prince Philip
Adult Sgt. Bastock is responsible for discipline, dress standards(cadets & staff) and teaching drill. He plays a large part in organising squadron activities and specialises in teaching propulsion .
Adult Sgt. Glover is responsible for discipline, dress standards(cadets & staff) and teaching drill. He is a Rifle Shooting Coach, a Weapon Instructor and a Field Craft Instructor.
CI Smith is a vital person in the running of the squadron as he runs the Squadron store. Mr Smith was a flight lieutenant and CO of the squadron for many years before relinquishing command and re-joining as a CI.
CI Kelly is our Range Conducting Officer, Senior Rifle Shooting Coach, Weapon Instructor and a Field Craft Instructor. He is one of the most highly qualified and commended shooting coaches in the country. We are very lucky to have him supervising our shooting.
CI Johnson is the squadron publicity organiser and maintains the squadron web site.
CI Atkinson is part of the training organisation team. An air traffic control professional, her skills and knowledge are a major asset to the squadron.
CI Phil Lowton was the main NCO of the squadron until the end of 2005. He has been with us a number of years and now as a CI is organising sports and social events.
CI Gaskell was a cadet for three years, leaving as a corporal. She helps run the DoE activities and sports events.
CI Nutt was until recently Sgt. Nutt - we are waiting for his clearance to be a CI

Flt. Sgt. Palmer Williams is very keen on sports, especially netball and hockey. She has represented the wing at junior netball.
Sgt. Shaw has been with the Squadron for 4 years and he likes aircraft recognition, flying, shooting and sports.
Sgt. Glover has been a cadet for three years. Her favourite activities are drill, flying and camps. Her ambition is to fly in the RAF
